Overall
Inflammation of prostate gland is called prostatitis. Prostate is a lubricant(semen) secretory gland which helps during intercourse. It is a male organ. It is situated above the urinary bladder.
Pain and difficult in urination is striking feature of it. Mostly prostatitis occurs above the 50 year age level although it can occur in lower age group also.
