When pancreas gets inflamed it is called pancreatitis. Pancreas is a chilly like long flat organ.It is situated at behind stomach.It is a multi-secratory gland. One part of Pancreas release enzyme that helps in digestion and other part release hormone that ragulate glucose level in our body. Pancreatitis is not common. This usually happens due to gall stones and among who intake heavy alcohol.
Types of pancreatitis
Acute– it is acute inflammation. If not treated immediately can be life-threatening. Most of the time patients get speedy recovery after proper treatment.
Chronic– it is the chronic inflammation. Usually it occurs after repeated acute inflammation. Its a long term disorder. Severity May happens any time
