It is the inflammation of lacrimal sac(tear sac) due to infection
Lacrimal sac situated in the inner corner of each eye beneath the upper eyelid. There is also a duct present which connects to nose called nasolacrimal duct and a puncta. These functioning as to clean our eye from bacteria, dust or foreign body
It makes tear to to keep hydrate our eyes every time we blink
Types

TREATMENT
Surgery:
• External dacryocystorhinostomy
• Endoscopic or endonasal
Other:
• Medications to fight infection
• Watch and wait or massage
• Dilation, probing and flushing
• Stenting Or intubation
• Balloon catheter dilation
